Jon Bartos is an expert in human capital solutions who
has coached hundreds of individuals and businesses to
professional success. He enjoys mentoring and motivating
others and has made a career out of doing just that.
A
successful executive coach, Jon specializes in working
with individuals to carve rewarding career paths. His
Magnum Program has re-energized professionals across
the country, helping them focus and achieve superior
results. As host of the weekly Talent Wins talk show,
Jon dispenses no-nonsense career management advice.
He is a dynamic public speaker and frequently publishes
articles on talent strategies.
Jon
is a graduate of Michigan State University where he
received a bachelors degree in communications.
He received his M.B.A. with an international business
concentration from Amber University in Garland, Texas.
Prior to founding JSI, Jon had a successful 16-year
sales and executive management career in the automatic
identification and data collection industries, where
hiring top talent was one of his chief initiatives.
He served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing
at Lowry Computer Products, Vice President, General
Manager at Weber Marking Systems, and Vice President
of Sales and Marketing, AIDC at Paxar-Monarch.
After
identifying a need for superior talent in the AIDC industry,
Jon decided to start his own executive recruitment firm.
In 1999, Jonathan Scott International http://www.jonathanscott.com
opened its doors in Mason, Ohio. JSI is dedicated to
finding for its clients A players, the top
20% who will make a positive impact in the workplace
on a daily basis. Jon and his team have established
JSI as a top 10% executive search and contract-staffing
firm. The office has won over 13 international awards
in the MRI franchise system, including International
Billing Manager of the Year and Top 10 SC Office.
Jon
believes in work/life balance. He gives back to the
community in a variety of ways. He is a volunteer track
coach for Mason High School and he also runs an online
pole-vaulting coaching website, http://www.vaultmonster.com.
He is a longtime board member of the Warren County,
Ohio United Way http://www.warrencountyunitedway.org
and is honored to serve as 2006 campaign chairperson.
Jon is a member of the Womens Resource Collaborative
Advisory Board.
Jon
competes in the Masters Level pole vault, a sport
in which he has achieved national success. In his spare
time, he enjoys relaxing on his farm with his wife,
Melissa, and their two children, Danielle, a sophomore
at the University of Cincinnati, and Aaron, a sophomore
at Mason High School.
